And so it begins

I never believed the world needed another blog.  In fact, I never understood why people read blogs at all.  There were always a few people I felt were worth paying attention to (like Joel), but by and large the thousands of blogs out there were written about mundane things by people who barely knew anything about anything.  Why contribute to the significantly large pile of excrement that is the majority of the internet?

And then I started to realize...

I'm full of shit.

I do care about blogs.  I spend more hours on Facebook and LinkedIn than I care to admit, purely to read about really dumb things from fairly dumb people (sorry, Facebook friends).  Sometimes opinions are interesting.  It's the same reason why you watch Jersey Shore (admit it).  There's no value in it, yet there's something captivating about watching experiences and hearing opinions ... even from really, really dumb people.

This blog is about my experiences and opinions.  And clearly it's interesting because I've said nothing of value and you're still reading.

That pile of excrement is about to get bigger, much much bigger.  Sorry about the stench.
